Fees
All fees are payable upon receipt of invoice at the beginning of each month.
Your invoice will show what payments were made last month and a breakdown for the coming month including (if eligible) any Free Funded Hours. Fees are calculated on a calendar monthly basis. We are happy to accept a combination of payments to make up the invoice total, these can be made up of childcare vouchers and bank transfers. We have a minimum 2 day requirement and offer the 15 hours funding over 2 and 3 days and the 30 hours over 4 and 5 days.
Government Funding
Patchwork offer the Working Parents Entitlement to eligible parents and carers. If you are not eligible for the working parent offer you will still receive the 15 hour entitlement for all 3 and 4 year olds from the term after your child turns 3 until they start school, irrespective of your income level, benefit status, or family circumstances.
Working Parent Eligibility Code
You must have a valid code in order to claim working parents funding. Codes with a start date after the start of the term cannot be used and codes must be updated every term.
How we offer the Early Years Funding
Funding is available for us to claim on your behalf for 38 weeks of the year, this applies to both Universal Hours (15 hours a week) and Extended Hours (30 hours per week). As we are open for 47.5 weeks of the year we stretch our funding over this time meaning that we can offer 12 hours per week based on a 15 hours entitlement and 24 hours per week based upon a 30 hour entitlement.
Once Patchwork have stretched these hours we will then divide them equally over the days that your child attends, you would then be liable for the additional daily hours additional cost;
- 2 days attendance using 15 hours (12 stretched) 6 hours funding per day. Cost £46.00 per day.
- 3 days attendance using 15 hours (12 stretched) 4 hours funding per day. Cost £57.66 per day
- 4 days attendance using 15 hours (12 stretched) 3 hours funding per day. Cost £63.39 per day.
- 5 days attendance using 15 hours (12 stretched) 2.4 hours funding per day. Cost £66.99 per day.
- 4 days attendance using 30 hours (24 stretched) 6 hours funding per day. Cost £46.00 per day.
- 5 days attendance using 30 hours (24 stretched) 4.8 hours funding per day. Cost £53.00 per day.
- Unfunded child cost and extra days £80.00 per day.
Please note that Patchwork offer a maximum of 6 hours per day of funded time before purchasing additional hours. We are still able to offer time using just your funding, however we may not be able to offer you the days or times that you require, please let us know your requirements.
Food and Consumables Charges:
We are permitted to make a charge for any food and consumables that are used during the Governments Funded Hours. We currently do not charge for any food and consumables used, however, we reserve the right to change this policy.
Please note that Patchwork do not charge for Bank holidays or the times that we are closed, all other times are charged at your daily rate.
